How do I know which size cover to buy for my fire pit?
If you have already purchased a Milkcan fire pit, we recommend looking for your fire pit here.
In the “Make it a set” section (above “Add to Cart”), we have listed the recommended cover size for each fire pit. Simply click on the square with an arrow next to the product name and it will take you to the correct listing in order to purchase.
The recommended size will be able to sit over either just the fire pit alone, or the fire pit, compatible grill and timber table together.
You might find that some covers are a different size to the fire pit itself – this is simply due to the fact some of our fire pits have handles on each side increasing the diameter, and therefore requiring a larger size cover to fit comfortably.
If you need further assistance with purchasing the correct size cover, please email [email protected] and one of our friendly Customer Support team will be able help you.
Can I put the cover on as soon as the fire goes out?
For safety reasons, please extinguish all coals and ensure the fire pit has cooled completely before placing the cover on top.
Is the cover waterproof?
Yes, the fire pit covers are waterproof, and will keep your fire pit and accessories nice and dry!
The cover got dirty after strong winds, what is the best way to clean it?
If your cover requires a clean, we recommend first giving it a brush down to remove any loose dirt or dust, and then using some water and a gentle microfiber cloth to wipe down. Alternatively, you can also hose down.
Can I use the cover over my grill and/or timber table?
Yes! We have designed our covers to be able to sit over your Milkcan fire pit and accessories to prevent rust and fading of all products.
What is the difference between an ember screen and a fire pit cover?
The ember screen can be used for small to medium fires, and can be used while the fire is still burning. The main purpose of an ember screen is to prevent embers and sparks flying out of the fire pit.

You will need to ensure all coals have been extinguished and the fire pit has cooled completely before placing the cover on top.
